DESCRIPTION:This training is for disabled members and will focus on: \n\nWorking for disability equality in UNISON\nRole of branch disabled members officer or contact\nBargaining for workplace reasonable adjustments\nDisability campaigning and organising in your branch\nSupport and resources\nIt’s also a great networking opportunity!\n\nThe course is delivered online via Microsoft Teams and lasts one full day\, 10am – 4pm\, with short breaks.\nYou can choose between attending on Tuesday 18th January or Wednesday 26th January 2022. \nIn order to apply\, you must: \n\nBe able to commit to attending on your chosen date for the full day\nBe able to access a reliable internet connection and have a computer or tablet on which to access MS Teams\nHave permission from your employer if you are using their IT equipment\nHave agreed facility time (time off) from your employer to attend the full day session if attending during working hours\nHave agreement from your branch to attend\n\n  \nCost of £10 will be met by branch. Please contact branch secretary if you would like to attend. \n
